Mahogany

The richness of mahogany always warm and inviting

For generations the various tropical American trees of the genus Swietenia have been valued for their hard, reddish-brown wood and S.mahogani in particular is much favoured for furniture making. These days African mahogany (usually of the genus Khaya ivorensis) Philapine mahogany of the genus Shorea and related genera and the mahogany veneers in their various forms are more likely to feature in this display

But from living and dining-rooms to bedrooms, one thing is for certain-the deep lustre and warm,reddish-brown of mahogany are certain to bring an inviting glow and visual richness to any home.
